The news of loosing the leadership of PSD Bucharest was commented by Marian Vanghelie in a characteristic style. The mayor of Bucharest’s Sector 5 said during a B1TV television broadcast that “if you are not good, PSD will kick you out.
“I’ve been for 17 years as member of PSD and I remember that also long time ago there was a problem. Organization of Bucharest is not something you can amend, you can not do anything. It does not work in Bucharest Division to be a dumb,” Vanghelie said on B1 TV.
“You can be a leader of PSD Bucharest only if you can and are good, because otherwise you are ejac…. immediately…errrr… I mean they reject you,” tried Marian Vanghelie to correct the mishap.
As of Monday June 27, 2011, Marian Vanghelie is no longer the head of PSD Bucharest. He will remain president, but without too many attributions. Ponta will assume all the duties, including the designation of candidates as Bucharest’s district mayors and main City Hall.
