American R & B singer Beyonce Knowles announced on Sunday in Los Angeles that she and her husband, rapper Jay-Z are expecting a baby. The pregnancy was confirmed then by the press publisher of the star. Quickly after, the new messaging record was recorded on Twitter.
The previous record was set in July, after the Japanese players defeated the Americans in the Women Football World Cup final when 7196 messages per second were posted.
Beyonce is one of the artists who won most of the music awards, having about 15 Grammys and around 75 million albums sold since the beginning of her career. She is being married for three years with rapper Jay-Z, 41.
