Walter Vance, 61, of Logan County, West Virginia passed away while doing his Christmas shoppings and apparently none around cared about his state. Furthermore, even if Mr. Vance collapsed to the ground, the shoppers just walked over his body being probably more preoccupied with the discounts.

The incident occured inside Target in South Charleston. The man was transported to a medical center but unfortunately the doctors could not save his life. Maybe if the shoppers reacted promptly, possibly the situation would have been different now.

Walter Vance family and friends are shocked about people’s indifference.
“Where is the good Samaritan side of people?” said in an interview for NBC News affiliate WSAZ, Vance’s co-worker and friend Sue Compton. “How could you not notice someone was in trouble? I just don’t understand if people didn’t help what their reason was, other than greed because of a sale.” Yeap, that’s probably a $ 1 million question!!!

  1. Please update your information with this, which clearly states that six nurses aided him immediately and the area was blocked off while people stood by and watched as the professionals did their job and didn’t go on shopping.
