Communist Party, the main opposition force in the State Duma, won 20.7% of the votes, Liberal Democratic Party (nationalist) 14.42% and “A Just Russia” or “Fair Russia” Party (left-wing) 13.3%, according to preliminary results announced by Tchourov.
United Russia has declared victory in parliamentary elections Sunday evening, while the Communists have denounced “massive” fraud.
