The gathering of the luxury sportscar owners in Japan ended “tragically” in a very costly crash which reduced 8 Ferraris, 1 Lamborghini and 3 Mercedes-Benz to bunch of debris. The accident occured on Chugoku Expressway in Shimonoseki, Japan, December 4, 2011 and left 10 people with minor injuries like bruises and cuts. Apparently the total number of vehicles involved in the crash was fourteen.

The accident sparked from a Ferrari driver who was careless enough to strike the median barrier when intended to switch lanes. Following the impact, his car recoiled across the motorway and the other drivers collided while struggling to avoid smashing the out-of-control Ferrari.
