An avid observer of world aircrafts, posted on his Youtube channel (@Cargospotter) a video showing amazing landing in strong wind conditions.
It is about a type of wind called crosswind. This wind blows from one direction (almost) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft as in this case. The crosswind expression is used also in the sailing language.
Filming was done in stormy weather at the airport of Dusseldorf, Germany. In the images you can see various types and models of aircrafts such as Boeing 777, Boeing 767, Boeing 757 and Airbus A330.
