29-year-old singer and actress Golshifteh Farahani, known as the first Iranian star to feature in a Hollywood movie, is now forbidden to return to her native country of Iran after posing in racy images for a black-and-white Cesar Academy film and a magazine photoshoot.

Farahani starred partially undressed in Jean-Baptiste Mondino’s ‘Corps et Âmes’ (Bodies and Souls) as well as in the French magazine Madame Le Figaro. In consequence she received letter from Iranian officials that she is allowed anymore to go back to her own country.

Farahani appears in the French movie along with other actors who were chosen for awards. The clip shows the actors as they remove their clothing.

Furthermore, the offensive photo published in Madame Le Figaro reveals Farahani posing against a black background with her hands covering her middle part of the torso.

Farahani is now blamed for breaking the morality rules of Islam and the Iranian Young Journalists Club posted the censored version of the disturbing photograph with Faharani’s body entirely blurred.
