Video: South Korean weightlifter Sa Jae-hyouk luxates right elbow in Olympics most dramatic accident
Things went awful for South Korea’s Sa Jae-hyouk who disjoined his elbow during the weightlifting contest 77 kg-category at ExCeL Arena in London (scroll down for video and photos).
The 27-year-old weightlifter ended up in terrible pain as his right elbow dislocated while trying to lift 162 kilograms in a snatch.
The champ in the men’s 77kg class was rushed to hospital as his 2nd attempt at the snatch turned disastrous.
Jaehyouk Sa did not have any problem in lifting 158kg, but wanted to push it up to 162kg.
Following Sa retirement from the tournament, the Chinese weightlifter Lu Xiaojun managed to brake 2 world records and win the competition.
