Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps just revealed a “shameful secret”.
Phelps, who retired at the London Olympics after becoming the most decorated athlete in the history, confessed to the Wall Street Journal that it happened frequently to him to pee in the pool.
He said that is normal for professional swimmers not to leave the pool for going to the toilet. “I think everybody urinates in the pool. This is normal for swimmers. When you stay in water for two hours, you do not get out to pee. Chlorine is quite effective, therefore it is not so bad,” said Phelps.
