Images featuring a bizarre escape attempt of a former pilot, who was suspected of murder, were released in the United States. 40-year-old pilot Brian Hedglin tried to escape justice using a stolen 50-seat passenger plane but ended up causing a havoc at St. George Airport in Utah last July (scroll down for video / photo).

The U.S. justice has now released CCTV images with the crash following requests from local media.

The video footage recorded on 17 July 2012 at 0:49 shows how Hedglin sneaks into an empty commercial passenger jet in the middle of the night. Hedglin, who worked for Skywest, committed suicide by shooting himself in the cockpit before police reached out to him. Just a few days before this weird incident, Hedgling’s girlfriend Christina Cornejo, 39, was found dead inside his home, therefore he was the main suspect in woman’s killing.
