Blues pianist and singer Jimmy McCracklin passed away Thursday in San Pablo, California, at the age of 91. The passing was confirmed by his daughter, Sue McCracklin.

The R & B singer and songwriter was known for the song “The Walk” which the artist recorded it for Checker Records alongside his band Blues Blasters.
