Romanian media claims that a British citizen, reportedly having a diplomatic rank, committed suicide on Thursday by jumping from the 7th floor of “Mara” hotel in the city of Baia Mare (scroll down for video report).

47-year-old Ian Saunders, checked in on January 14, at 22:00 and asked hotel representatives to accommodate him on the top floor. The man was supposed to leave today, but he extended his stay by another day, writes local website “actualmm.ro”.
