Romania’s Simona Halep to qualify in “Qatar Total Open” semifinals at Doha after beating Sara Errani

Tennis player Simona Halep of Romania unveiled a great performance on Friday as she won 6-2, 6-0, over Italian athlete and World’s no. 7, Sara Errani, to qualify in the semi-finals of the Premier 5-category tennis tournament from Doha (Qatar Total Open 2014) with prizes totaling 2,440,070 dollars. Simona Halep, 7th seeded and 10th WTA, needed just 53 minutes to join the four best female players of the competition.

Halep plays the semifinal on Saturday, when she is set to meet the winner of the match between Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland, 2nd seeded and 4th WTA, and Yanina Wickmayer (Belgium), 72nd WTA.
