Libyan Antonov An-26 military airplane crashed in Tunisia killing 11

An Antonov An-26 Libyan military airplane fell from the sky in Tunisia’s Nabeul region Friday, and all 11 people on board died in the accident, unveiled Tunisia’s state news agency TAP.

The aircraft was carrying 6 crew and 5 passengers and plunged to the ground at about 60 kilometers (37 miles) from country’s capital of Tunis.

The plane was on a route from Mitiga Airport in Libya, TAP said. Tunisia is located on the eastern side of the Libyan border.
