Aware of his ban from flying through Ukraine’s airspace, Rogozin did not board his official aircraft but a plane of the company S7 (Siberia Airlines) which operates regular flights on the route Chisinau – Moscow.

Rogozin arrived at Chisinau International Airport at 1:23 p.m. He was escorted by a security team of the Russian Embassy in Moldova and used an Embassy vehicle which did not wear the protocol flag of the Russian Federation.

However, according to website deschide.md, Rogozin did not board the aircraft YAK 42, but embarked hastily the plane of the company S7 Airlines which operates regular flights between Chisinau and Moscow and took off at 13:40.

The other members of the delegation, who arrived at Chisinau airport 15 minutes after Dmitry Rogozin, boarded the aircraft YAK 42, which was apparently constrained by Ukraine air-force to turn back, as shown by flightradar24.com.
