The private Falcon 50-type aircraft was about to leave Moscow and head for Paris, but it failed to lift-off at 23.58 local time (20.58 GMT), after smashing into snowplow, said the representative of Russian Committee for the transportation investigation, Tatiana Morozova.
Russian investigator said on Tuesday that the driver of the troubling snowplow was intoxicated.
“It was established that the driver of the snow vehicle was in a state of drunkenness” the investigative committee stated in a press release.
The funny aspect, if that can be said, is that the investigators mentioned also the “bad weather and pilot error” among the possible causes for the crash.
