The Guardian recalls that RT correspondent in London, Sarah Firth, resigned in July as a result of the poor coverage of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crash.

Her departure came four months after Washington-based news anchor Liz Wahl announced her resignation during a live broadcast. Wahl slammed the network for “whitewashing” Russia’s military actions in Crimea.
