British actor Vinnie Jones, known for his roles in the films “Snatch” or “Games”, “X-Men” was diagnosed with skin cancer.

The actor and his wife, Tanya, are both suffering from this disease. Vinnie Jones, aged 48, had been subjected to surgical removal of a tumor in February, but was later diagnosed with melanoma and underwent two lumps-removal surgeries in the meantime.
Vinnie spotted a small blemish below his eye early this year, thinking it was “a blackhead or a wart”.
A check-up disclosed it was melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer, which kills 1,300 males and 900 females every year.
Malignant Melanoma death impact have been raising in the United Kingdom since 1970, but the illness can be largely prevented by avoiding exposure to strong sunlight and using high-factor sun creams.
Treatment turns out to successful if melanoma is detected at early stage.
The former footballer and winner of the FA Cup with Wimbledon FC, said that the condition he is suffering of is the hardest thing that could happen to him.
“I had to deal with biggest and toughest men on the football field and was involved in some nasty fights in bars. Yet this is the scariest and toughest opponent we are dealing with,” said Jones , who played also for the Wales national team.
He was promoted as an actor by Guy Ritchie, and then made his way to Hollywood, being present in several super productions like “X -Men” and “Swordfish”.
This news comes shortly after another famous movies star, Hugh Jackman, revealed his skin cancer ordeal on Friday.
