A flock of sheep in central Paris is not exactly the image what the tourists eager to stay in the City of Lights would expect (scroll down for video).

However, the city council want sheep to replace conventional lawnmowers and officials are quite confident that the animals can do a better job. In conclusion, the so called “lawnmower sheep” have to graze the grass in public places across Paris.

“It’s a green and cheap solution”, say the council officials in the French capital.

The pilot project is set to run until October, and the Parisian authorities will determine whether the flock will be “hired” for an indefinite period.

Soccer could not miss Harlem Shake phenomenon as Standard Liege filmed a clip inside the dressing room, even if team’s latest results in Belgium’s championship do not really justify such a video.

Standard Liege Harlem Shake

Standard Liege footballers dance Harlem Shake at the lockers

Harlem Shakes broke in Standard Liege’s lockers. The footage shows how a player gives the kick off dancing by himself with a bag on his head, while the rest of the fellows keep up with song’s rhythm.

At one point Romanian coach Mircea Rednic makes his appearance and everything could end suddenly. He seems to warn his boys of the consequences of their intention and the lonely dancer gets somehow scared.

But in fact it was a joke as Rednic turns on the audio giving the kick-off of the party. The footballers jump all up in special outfits with hoods and even an inflatable doll. The athletes appear to combine perfectly the training efforts with the dancing skills.

Meet Daisy, a pet seen as world’s cutest kitty who gathered millions of fans after its photos made rounds on the internet.

Worlds loveliest kitten Daisy

Kitten Daisy was discovered in Tokyo, Japan by Australian photographer

The playful and cuddly fur ball stunned the whole world after its master, an Australian photographer established in Tokyo, decided to immortalize its antics.

Meanwhile Daisy has been the subject of several articles published by the electronic media and even received the title of “The cutest kitty in the world”.

Ben Torode is a translator, and in 2009 he discovered a new hobby that has since become his second profession: photography.

Torode found Daisy in a Tokyo petshop and “it was love at first sight”, said the Australian photographer in an interview for website mymodernmet.com.

“I called her Daisy after the pet name I gave to my wife at the beginning of our relationship. Actually, Daisy does not like to be held or comforted too much. But she hates to be alone. She was born a predator and its favorite “victim” she lurks and hunt up till getting tired, is the laser pointer,” added Ben Torode.

Torode has confessed that it was not easy to snap photos of little Daisy, as it required great dexterity to trigger the device because the “model” was far from being a good listener.

An employee of the Moscow municipality lost his job after clearing the snow off the streets of the Russian capital using a unique tool : PHOTOSHOP. (scroll down for photo)

Moscow’s Mayor Sergei Sobyanin dismissed a subordinate responsible with a district where the street snow was shoveled away with the famed image editing program.

Leonid Bogatyryov, the administration chief of the Orekhovo-Borisovo district in Moscow wanted to ease his office duties by means of a genuine trick, but the effort cost him his job.

How did it happen? Well, at the end of January Russian blogger Yuri Ursu (“yuriursu”) submitted a complained to Moscow’s government website “Nash Gorod” (Our City) about a narrow passage that had never been cleaned this winter. Following the complaint, Bogatyryov started working conscientiously on the “troubling area”. Not on the street as you would have expected, but behind the computer.

Two days later, on February 1, the blogger received a message signed by the head of the administration, which stated that the street was cleaned, and the company responsible for the cleaning was sanctioned. The message was accompanied also by a photograph, showing the result of work that was carried out: the snow had disappeared and along with it also the inscriptions on the walls but the pavement showed visible traces left by the photoshop’s “brush”.

Ursu forwarded the response to the city government office and the local prosecutors office.
