The Ice Hotel at Balea Lake in Romania is somehow unique in Europe. Right on the first day of Christmas, the British broadcaster BBC aired images with the rooms of the icy building. “It is advisable to wear a jacket while sleeping,” the British reporters joked (scroll down for photos and video -BBC).

Balea ice hotel, which just opened, is made up of ice bricks, each one meter long. Inside there are beds and other types of furniture also made of ice.

The interior temperatures never exceed 2 degrees Celsius. It appears that you have to climb in bed dressed with jacket.
