    A government spokesman told local media that Pakistan initiated talks with Twitter to ban the outrageous materials, but the negotiations had no result.

    “Facebook is promoting a cartoon competition aimed at drawing and posting images of the Prophet Muhammad,” said Mohammad Yaseen, Chairman of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.
