Ranger Margaret Anderson, a mother of two, was killed in a shooting incident on January 1, 2012 after a routine traffic check at Mount Rainier National Park.
On Sunday, Barnes fatally shot Mrs. Anderson, 34, fired his weapon at another ranger and subsequently disappeared in the forest.
