    Moldova’s Parliament gave credit to Mr. Filip’s cabinet which earned 57 votes from the newly formed parliamentary majority. In the wake of the legislative decision, hundreds of people took to the streets demanding the invalidation of the vote.

    The gathering which developed into a massive protest is organized by three political groups: Igor Dodon’s Socialist Party, Renato Usatii’s Our Party (both Russian-backed) and the pro-Romanian/European Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth” (Partidul Platforma Dreptate si Adevar PPDA).

    The Moldovan capital city of Chisinau has turned into a celebratory spot on Sunday when people unveiled their skills in performing the “dance of the Union”.
