American basketball player Chauncey Hardy died of fall injuries caused by punch. Forensic experts have determined that Hardy did not die straight due to the hit, but because of the fall injuries caused to his head after he received the punch from the aggressor (almost the same stuff). Athlete’s killer was taken before judges in order to issue an arrest warrant for him.

The assailant of American basketball player Chauncey Hardy was arrested Monday by prosecutors from Giurgiu Tribunal Office, and charged with hit causing death, outrage against morality and public disturbance. The court will decide whether he will be arrested or not (This is one of the most stunning expressions/situations in Romania – when a criminal is caught, the justice yet have to think and decide whether to apply an arrest warrant or not, unbelievable).

Ionut Adrian Tanasoaia, the attacker who hit and killed Chauncey Hardy

Prosecutors from Giurgiu Tribunal ordered today (10 October) the arrest and accusation procedure against the 25-year-old Ionut Adrian Tănăsoaia, under charges of criminal action, causing death and disturbance of public order.

Tănăsoaia punched Chauncey Hardy in the chin in a bar from Giurgiu, amid a spontaneous conflict over a girl in early morning of Sunday at about 3.30. Apparently Ionut Adrian Tanasoaia attacked the player because he wished to dance with Tanasoaia’s girlfriend. Tragically the hit proved to be fatal as the sportsman fell to the floor and his head suffered serious injuries that led to his death.
(Unofficial disclosure): According to a witness Chauncey Hardy had a drink in that club while celebrating the victory with his team mates. At a certain moment he walked to speak to a girl, and he was allegedly told to leave, which he didn’t. Then girl’s boyfriend returned from bathroom, and punched him in the head. Hardy felt and hit his head of the edge of a step. Other sources claim that Hardy had already danced with the girl on the dancing ring and afterwards struck by Tanasoaia.

CSS Giurgiu manage accused police for carrying out the invetigation improperly. Chauncey Hardy had not been under influence of alcohol at the moment of the incident.

20 people, including Hardy’s colleagues and employees of the club, where the incident occurred, were questioned till late into the night. The interrogation led to the suspect (Adrian Ionut Tanasoaia) who is a member of Butoane clan and known under the nickname Gipsy (because probably he was a gipsy). A personal profile on Facebook reveals that Adrian Tanasoaia calls himself “Gypsy Gypsanu”.

i google’d the assailant’s name and his linkedinp profile says he was an audit manager at ernst and young so highly unlikely he is a gipsy.

Probably you searched wrong. If you go to google.com and type Ionut Adrian Tănăsoaia or Adrian Tănăsoaia or Ionut Tănăsoaia you will be pointed to the right person (attacker). In case you type only Ionut Adrian you’ll find some other guys not related to the incident. Tanasoaia is his family name.

All Romanian people regrets badly this tragic event.
These gypsies clans, there are unfortunately in the peripheral areas of the big cities. However, as in America there are still many thugs on the streets, also in Romania those bandits they act up in nightclubs with different deals.
Hardy’s misfortune or badluck was that he not knew Romanian language to talk with these Gypsies bloody bastards to settle the conflict for a easy woman named Lilly, and these uneducated Gypsies were angry quickly and thus appeared this unfortunate tragedy.
As a Romanian citizen, I am fully disgusted by these dirty Gypsies, and I apologize for this loss to the all Americans.
Rest in peace, Chauncey Hardy !
        Odihneasca-se in pace !

This is not the real killer. This guy is just a tool.
The real Killer is at home protected as usual by his gang.
This tool received money from the clan to say that he is the one.
Everybody say who killed the poor teenager but everybody is scared to admit it.
Even the police is pretending that they don’t know.
They’ve wasted a whole night by investigating the entire team, but not by asking the gipsies from the club.

    • foxcrawl says:

Your affirmation is usually true when high-profile crimes. You wrote like it was a premeditated murder plot. Why would anyone have had something against Hardy? He was just a skilled basketball player trying to help CSS Giurgiu…

      • ME says:

He was a boy who played basketball and he was in an unfortunate situation to hit on a girl that was “owned” by a local gang.
The reason this is not the real guy who started the fight is because the son of the big thug was involved and he smashed the bottle in his head.(obvious they needed somebody else to say that hit him).

The police is pretending that they don’t know what really happened and the situation is presented in such a twisted way that it sounds like a fairytale.
There were over 100 people in the club and at least 50 of them saw what happened. Guess what. there is no official witness in the police records beside the team players.
And one more weird thing in this story: The thug surrendered himself on Monday morning and he is defended in court by an ex prosecutor who is an attorney right now.
I hope that FBI will figure that this fairytale is not that flawless.

        • foxcrawl says:

Indeed, it really makes sense what you are saying. Also CSS manager disclosed that Hardy had been hit with a bottle and more people interfered there. Furthermore she said that many youngsters saw the incident but are affraid to speak out. It is clear someone wants to cover up the story as that attorney already asked the magistrates to free Tanasoaia on ground that he is not a public danger,,,hmmm. I will tell you something which you already know: if this case is handled solely by romanian authorities, the real killer will stay at large and also Tanasoaia will be released soon,,,therefore Hardy died for nothing. Only if there is exerted some external pressure from U.S. for example,,,then something will be set into motion in this murder case.

          • ME says:

That attorney defended a bank director couple of years ago who stole 11 billions from his bank. Now he is free and he even has benefits after the trial.

Suddenly the surveillance cameras didn’t work in that night.
To bad that this poor kid had to die in this miserable way far away from his family because he was following his dream and he messed with the wrong people.
If the local authorities will deal with this, nothing will happen and in one month ore two, the entire case will be forgotten.

The son of the big Tug is still showing off with what he did and walking around free, without any worries.
Why everybody is scared? because they can make you disappear from that city if you talk. The police, the local authorities and the gang are hand in hand.

Let’s wait for the FBI to make the first official statement and see how things work out.

          • foxcrawl says:

If people are affraid at least they should provide info online under anonymity. Do you think FBI was noticed about the way this case is handled???

  3. ME says:

I bet that they can see from a mile away how this case is handled by the local authorities.
First, the mayor said that he doesn’t know the gang leader, and afterwords he said that he might have done some businesses with him.

One senator said that there are no gypsies gangs problem in the city and after one day movies with him partying at some of the thugs house appeared online.

One chief from the police made an official statement that they are investigating how this happened and they have some suspects, when almost half of the city knew what happened 24 hours after the incident.

Overall the local police is controlled by the local authorities and the local authorities are controlled by the gang.
You can see pictures and movies with high rank people people partying with people from the gang.
I hope that somebody will have the guts to talk to FBI investigators instead of the police and that this will have a positive turn.

    • foxcrawl says:

It is understandable the reaction of local authorities (controlled by thugs) but….Is Bucharest sleeping??? Government, parliament, something??? Is anyone dead there? Television reports reveal largely the situation but unfortunately Romania does not have a public oppinion at all. Everyone was supressed.

      • ME says:

Unfortunately the public opinion is at home behind the tv screen or behind the computer. Never on the streets when it comes to gipsies or other gangs.
The mayor of the city and the director of the municipal hospital were humiliated on national television because of their false statements and still, nothing is happening.
I am sick of this situation since now they are stating that Chauncey died because he felt and bumped his head. I mean, this should go on the streets and people should be angry because this isn’t the first time when this kind of events are happening, this is the first time when an foreigner is involved.
At the moment as I’ve said, people are revolted just behind the TV or the computer screen.

        • foxcrawl says:

It looks like the Bulgarians have lot of dignity and took the situation in their hands a while ago…Romania did not learn anything from its neighbours.

          • ME says:

Yes they do. I know the case, and the public responded very quick and they’ve took the problem in their own hands. Not that I recommend that, but in some cases is needed, when the authorities pretend that nothing happened.

I’m a romanian citizen. We live under TERROR here by the GYPSYES. This is the FIRST thing that you must understand – make a distinction between ROMANIANS – and GYPSYES who forced their ways on us romanians.

That kid Hardy, may he Rest in Peace, had the misfortune of meeting one of these scum gypsy leaders.

These scum gypsyes can do whatever they want to us, kill us, hit us with bats like in the mezozoic era, and everyone will go silent and will shut up since they are protected by local police and politicians.

If you want to do something for real, bring the army from the US and kill the clans of gypsyes. You have no idea how difficult it is to live with the gypsyes. No one touches them here, NO ONE.

The attacker of Hardy will be brought to a corrupt justice, will face 2 years with suspension for well-behavior and will be back on the streets (and most probably promoted by his gypsy clan, because of his act). All this because the prosecutors and judges have secret links with the clans – clans get money and influence, in exchange for votes and favors.

Bring whoever you want from the US and get us rid in Romania of the gypsyes.

The only thing that can save Romania is a foreign stronger army to enter and DECIMATE the evil that is rooted here.
There is no real justice in Romania! DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Ryan says:

As much as I think the US army is a force for good; that cannot possibly be the way this problem is solved. Just like we have had issues with the mafia here in America. In fact they work exactly the way the mafia worked in New York City for many years. What finally started cleaning up the streets? Guardian Angel Chapters – not the police, but citizens who came together and finally decided they had enough. The bottom line is Romanian citizens have to learn to take a stand themselves. I went to high school with Chauncey and I’d love to see justice for this incident more than anybody. Unfortunately I don’t think America can do any more exporting of justice and freedom. I fully support you people and I pray that you can overcome this force of evil someday.

I’m a romanian girl and I want to say that I’m deeply ashamed of what is in my country. The coruption is in bloom, we don’t have each other like you are guys in US and other parts of the world, we are affraid to talk, to take the situation in our hands. We don’t have FBI or somebody to take care about us. The police, the doctors, the government sleeps or doesn’t have eyes or ears for us. There’s a gypsie gang in every town. Everyone that has money can bribe easily a doctor or a police officer.
A doctor denied to test me. He wanted money so I had to give money to him so he can check on me cuz i had hemorrhage, and lots and lots of many cases.
It breaks my heart to say this, but we are alone.
Thank God that FBI is investigating this case!!!!!
    RIP Chauncey!!!
