Serban Huidu caused tragic car accident: 2 dead and 1 critically injured

Two people died and one more is in life-threatening condition after 2 cars frontally collided in Timisul de Sus, Brasov County.
Brasov traffic police revealed that after a research conducted on the spot, it was established that the accident occurred due to inadequate speed in bad weather conditions (wet road).
The Mercedes ML vehicle driven by Huidu was involved in a head-to-head crash with a Dacia Logan. Besides the two people who lost instantly their lives, also the injured passenger died later in the hospital, therefore Prima TV presenter is now responsible for three fatalities.

“Today, around 11.55 a.m., at kilometer 149+150 m on DN1 (Timisul de Sus), a 35-year-old man (i.e. Huidu) from Bucharest who was driving a jeep-type vehicle from Predeal to Braşov crossed into the counter-flow lane and collided with a Dacia Logan car properly steered by a 65-year-old man from Brasov.”

Serban Huidu, his wife and their two children were taken to Brasov Hospital. They showed just various minor injuries, therefore they are safe after the accident.
According to Piroşca Magdalena, the head of Ambulance Brasov, one of Huidu’s children suffered minor injury and brain trauma, but without loss of consciousness and was transported to Children’s Hospital in Brasov.
In August, I drive also on that portion of road ‘Braşov-Predeal’ where the speed limit is 70km/h on my way to Bran (Dracula’s) Castle.
I’m sure that Huidu had a speed of 120km/h at the moment of impact, because he crushed terrifying the Dacia Logan at 80% damages, and at a regular speed of 70-80km/h you can’t cause (never) such an accident.. because I drive a similar/same class car with the Mercedes ML (an X5), and those SUV’s are 100% safe at this legal speed between 70-90km/h.
I got a strongly believe that this mentally unstable Şerban Huidu, should not have been allowed/let to soon to drive by our Romanian road police only after a strict medical examination because his brain works only at 40% of normal capacity after his ski accident in the Alps a year ago. But unfortunately… his case (well known) it was easily overlooked by our competent authorities all these psychiatric aspects, because is a TV ‘star’… 🙁

I am so sorry for Serban Huidu. I am also very sorry for the ones who died and their families.. but I cannot even imagine what Serban is going through right now. It must be a living hell.
It’s too bad that everyone draws stupid conclusions like ”he’s a criminal, he only wanted to show off and be arogant with his fancy car”, this is just crap.
I am not saying he is completely innocent, but he’s not a criminal and he shouldn’t be judged so harsh.

Foarte corect! 3 oameni au murit! Nimic nu-i mai aduce inapoi si nu e pedepsa care sa fie complet corecta pentru ca si daca ai vrea sa-l comdamni la moarte trebuie sa ne gandim el a gresit. Cam trist totusi daca te gandesti: acum cateva luni a scapat de moarte sigura ca sa faca o greseala acum si sa omoare 3 oameni. Oricum el nu va mai avea carnet de conducere pt restul vietii si e compromis total ca persoana publica – asa cum as si trebui.

You can’t imagine how much I have been waiting for a reaction from your side. Unfortunately it is not the one I have been expencting. I have nothing with Simon,actually I do share his opinion on the guilt of Huidu, no matter how we see the issue, he is guilty for breaking traffic regulations and that brought him the worse punishment ever, he became a murderer and he should pay for it, but by which law? I strongly believe that Romania is in deep lack of laws and punishments. Romanian regulations as they are today allow “the criminal to get away with the crime”. That is keeping Romania in stand by. As for Simon, please do try to understand his lines in Romanian, you might change your mind. I do pity a site that allows a person use that kind of language. It is below any kind of imaginable minimum level of education and manners.
