Former Somerset cricketer and Sydney Morning Herald commentator Peter Roebuck killed himself on Saturday in a hotel in Newlands, Cape Town.

According to South African police, 55-year-old Roebuck jumped to death from his appartment on the 6th floor of the Southern Sun Hotel on Saturday night at 21:15.
