In a message posted on the Internet and signed AnonOpsRomania, it is stated that Monday night at 00:00 (Tuesday 14/02/2012) there will be published, among other things, bank accounts, secret transactions and other information about the new prime minister of Romania and SIE’s former spy chief, Mihai Razvan Ungureanu (MRU).
“Today, at midnight, we, AnonOpsRomania, will publish information related to country’s intelligence: phone numbers, leaked contacts, everything that fell in our hand. It’s a protest against the new prime minister, Mihai Razvan Ungureanu, who was the head of SIE”, it was revealed in a message posted on the Internet.
“We will give special attention of MRU: bank accounts, phone numbers, secret deals and ways he was involved in politics so far,” the statement said. “We will not stop here and we will show what he tried to cover along with the real brains of the security services. As Romania has gone downhill in the last 20 years in respect to the banking system, now fully privatized, and what role Israel played in the whole story. No matter how much snow shed over their cover-ups, we will remove it to get to the truth,” wrote the Romanian hackers, whose operation is called “SnowMelt”.
The Romanian Parliament approved Ungureanu’s government on 10 February following the resignation of Emil Boc led government that was forced out due to the harsh austerity measures and the month-long protests that swept Romania in early 2012.
