Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla have received many congratulatory messages after Priscilla gave birth to a baby girl. And Shakira wanted to congratulate Facebook founder as well.
The Colombian singer wanted to thank Zuckerberg and his wife for their decision to donate a substantial amount of their income to charity.

From parents to parents, our most heartfelt congratulations on welcoming Max to the world. She is an immensely fortunate baby to have parents with such dedication and integrity.
Your commitment to making the world a better place than you found it, and to empowering everyone to help make that a reality through all the tools you’ve listed here, education for all being one of them, show that success, when shared, has a multiplier effect. It’s not about leaving anyone behind. It’s about helping pull everyone, and humanity in general, forward.
Thanks to your generosity, many will have the keys to unlock all of that untapped potential that has been there all along, waiting to be discovered.
Looking forward to meeting the newest Chan Zuckerberg.
Shakira and Gerard Piqué”,
wrote the famed artist on her social media account
Right on the day when Max was born, Facebook’s co-founder made an unexpected announcement saying he will donate almost his entire fortune, which means 45 billion dollars to charity.
“Priscilla and I are so happy to welcome our daughter Max into this world!
For her birth, we wrote a letter to her about the world we hope she grows up in.
It’s a world where our generation can advance human potential and promote equality — by curing disease, personalizing learning, harnessing clean energy, connecting people, building strong communities, reducing poverty, providing equal rights and spreading understanding across nations.
We are committed to doing our small part to help create this world for all children. We will give 99% of our Facebook shares — currently about $45 billion — during our lives to join many others in improving this world for the next generation.
Thank you to everyone in this community for all your love and support during the pregnancy. You’ve given us hope that together we can build this world for Max and all children,” wrote Mark Zuckerberg on his Facebook page on December 1st.
