Lady Gaga paid tribute to a fan who committed suicide last week by dedicating him a song performed during her concert at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas (scroll down for videos).
Pop superstar revealed that she was devastated when he heard the tragic story of the 14-year-old fan who took his own life. Jamey Rodemeyer was ridiculed and attacked constantly by colleagues at school because of his sexual orientation.
After learning Jamey’s story, Lady Gaga said she will fight to outlaw the verbal or physical aggression in schools, vowing she will do everything possible to get a meeting with President Barack Obama for this purpose.
In a recording (see 2nd video), Jamie from Buffalo, New York tells everyone that he gets better due to the support. Unfortunately it seems that was not enough.
The worst situation here is that even when Jamey described his painful frustrations and demanded aid in his blog messages, most of the colleagues mocked him.
