Missing Kansas University Student Aisha Khan who disappeared the previous week after leaving a distressing voice-message on her sister’ cell phone, was discovered yesterday alive and safe.

The KU student went missing last Friday at about 11 a.m. after spotted studying in Overland Park on the University of Kansas Edwards Campus. Aisha phoned her sister and acknowledged slapping a male individual in his face after he tried to kiss her. Her sister rode to the campus but upon her arrival their was no sign of Aisha. Only her book bag and the mobile phone were found instead.
Wednesday (after a 6-day search operation) police managed to get in touch with Aisha Khan who disclosed that she is fine and safe. “On behalf of the Khan family, we are happy to let you know that Aisha has been found,” her family wrote on the ‘Help Find Aisha Khan’ Facebook webpage. “She is safe and is unharmed. The family is sincerely grateful to each and every one of your support and encouragement during this difficult journey.”
Initially, Aisha’s husband Waseem Khan thought that his wife was kidnapped. It proved thus that he was wrong fortunately. He expressed also a begging message during “Good Morning America” program:
“My message to the kidnapper is, let her go. You have the power to let her go and I will completely forgive you if you let her go.”
