Vaclav Havel’s the last trip! Tens of thousands of Czechs paid a final tribute to former President. (scroll down for video)

Vaclav Havel funeral take place in Prague and the ceremony is held at Vitus Cathedral, in city’s castle, in the presence of dozens Heads of State and Government. Romania is represented by President Traian Basescu and former president Emil Constantinescu.

It is the last day of pilgrimage to Prague Castle, where Havel’s coffin is laid down. A few hours before the funeral, the Czechs continued to light candles.

And last night, late, people waited in a long line in order to pay respect to anti-communist fighter and former president of the republic.

The funerals are attended, among others, by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, British Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Former Polish leader Lech Walesa, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, former presidents of Bulgaria and Slovenia are also present in order to say farewell to that who was their friend.

After the funeral ceremony, Vaclav Havel’s body will be cremated and the ashes will be deposited in the family tomb.
