Las Vegas employee Melodee Megia fired for wrong words: ‘Bye Bye’

Las Vegas Cosmopolitan hotel and casino is suspected to have sacked an employee for an entirelly unacceptable motive.

Melodee Megia revealed that the real reason of her dismissal was of saying “bye bye” on the phone instead of (more polite??) “goodbye”. She was fired while pregnant in 8-months.

Megia, 37, was employed as “room service sales” worker and her duty was usually to respond to phone calls from hotel customers requesting room service.

Melodee, who is represented by lawyers Mark Thierman and Jason Kuller, is planning now to sue Cosmopolitan for pregnancy discrimination.
