Jennifer Vasilakos, a woman who provided direction information to a lost billionaire received a surprising $20,000 gift.
The story began in July when Jennifer helped Ty Warner as he pulled over his vehicle and asked her for driving directions in Santa Barbara, California.
Warner was lost in the traffic struggling to find the destination while Vasilakos didn’t have any idea who she was helping.
Warner is the owner of Ty Inc., the Beanie Baby company.

She was scheduled for a surgery at an undisclosed foreign medical center to start hematopoietic stem cell treatment. Hematopietic treatment takes a cell from the blood or bone marrow that can renew itself and develop into a variety of specialized cells.
“After meeting Jennifer, I further informed myself on her stem cell needs. I was stunned to find out that this kind of treatment was not available to her in the U.S.,” the billionaire revealed in a statement. “My hope is that we can bring this lifesaving treatment to the forefront so that it can become more readily available and provide alternatives for people like Jennifer.”
