Three officers wounded in Frankstown Township shooting in Pennsylvania

Four individuals were killed on a Pennsylvania highway when a shooter gunned down 3 people before being shot dead in a police standoff (scroll down for video report).

Three police officers were wounded in the shootout on Friday in Frankstown Township, about 160 kilometers from Pittsburgh.

According to authorities, the gunman apparently started firing randomly at people while driving his vehicle.

“Police isolated the conflict in Frankstown Township, Blair County. The gunman no longer poses a threat to the people living in this residential area”, the Blair County Emergency Agency posted on its Facebook account.
