39-year-old Chris Kyle, a retired U.S. Navy SEAL and author of the bestselling book “American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History” died on Saturday as he was fatally shot at the Rough Creek Lodge in Texas.

Kyle became famous after serving 4 duty stages in Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom) and killing about 160 insurgents between 1999 and 2009 when he retired. Investigators announced subsequently that Eddie Ray Routh was captured in Lancaster Saturday night and is expected to be charged with murder.
