The magistrates sentenced Dr. Murray to four years in jail after being charged with the death of Michael Jackson. The sentence was read in a Los Angeles court (scroll down for video).

Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary killing. His (4 year) penalty is the maximum allowed under current law.

Jackson’s family was present in the courtroom when Dr. Murray received his conviction. Katherine Jackson was accompanied by her three children: La Toya, Jermaine and Randy.
