Romania’s Roxana Cocos won the silver medal in the women weightlifting contest – 69-kilogram category, at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

The Romanian athlete lifted 113 kg in snatch and 143 style cast. With a total of 256 kg, Roxana brought the sixth Olympic medal to the Romanian delegation.

The gold medal was claimed by the North Korean athlete Rim Jong Sim, while the bronze was taken by Maryna Shkermankova from Belarus.
