A motorcycle cop opened fire at the driver of a car that hit him after a pursuit. The incident occurred Thursday night on the Binnenrotte, a street in the center of Rotterdam. A man was taken into custody according to police sources. Apparently many bystanders witnessed the incident.

The motorcycle policeman showed the car driver a stop sign because he wanted to check the vehicle. The driver took off and the officer pursued him.
