    Jack Jablonski, a Minnesota Benilde-St. Margaret’s high school player ended up paralized after a tough contact with the end boards during the Holiday Hockey Classic tournament in St. Louis Park (scroll down for video).

    The tragic incident occured during the clash between Jablonski’s team Red Knights and Wayzata High School. The 16-year-old player was apparently hit from behind and collided with the boards before collapsing paralyzed on the ice.

    The teenager could not feel his legs and was able only to slightly move his fingers. He was hospitalized at the Hennepin County Hospital where he has to recover from 2 cracked bones in his lower neck.

    According to medial sources, the young hockey player is scheduled to undergo surgery this week. Now his parent and whole community are praying for a miracle to happen.
