i think those two kids that hit jack should be banned from any kind of hockey.

They didnt intentionally paralyze Jack. Hockey is a rough game and it happens. The key word was accidentally hit him from behind. so you want kids suspended from a sport they love because of an accident that happened. thats jst ignorant. All we can hope and wish for is that Jack comes outta this okay.

How often have you been ‘accidently’ hit from behind, at neck level. Intent is clear, no matter how many hockey lovers try to shield this criminal in order that their game might save face. I like hockey, but this incident is far from ‘accidental’. The kid should sit in jail just like someone who accidentally kills someone in a motor vehicle. He should be held accountable, forgiven or not. Nobody really cares how bad he feels for himself. To protect him from the punishment he fully deserves is the pinnacle of ignorance.

it was 100% accidental, I was at that game and it was a tragic hit. He did no try to injure my buddy Jack Jablonski. I’ve known Jack since i was 12, Jack is a strong person and can fight through this injury and new lifestyle. I truly believe this checking from behind hit wasn’t on purpose Jack was checked which turned his body when the other wyazata hockey player came in for the hit which resulted in Jack flying into the boards face first and paralyzing my buddy Jack. Love you Jack #JABS #13

I am a bit confused as to why there was video of hockey being played at the beginning of the video. I would understand if family did not want hit shown on video out of respect for Mr. Jack Jablonski and the young man who accidentally checked him from behind but I do not understand the need for having the hockey action at the beginning.

Personally, as a coach, I was hoping to see the hit for further knowledge of coaching my own not to check in a dangerous way.
