Twin engine airplane crashed in Saskatoon

A small dimension twin engine plane crashed on Wanuskewin Drive north in the Canadian city of Saskatoon on Friday (April 1, 2011) around 6:30 p.m. Following the accident, the only passenger aboard died. The two pilots suffered minor wounds and no other ground injuries were reported.

According to the witnesses during the crash both engines failed running. The pilots wanted to reach out the nearby John G. Diefenbaker International Airport from Saskatoon but it looked like the aircraft lost entirely the power.
