Margaret, UK’s oldest puss to celebrate 117 anniversary in human years

Folks, meet Margaret, a cat who is about become the oldest cat in Britain next week when she turns 25 in cat years or…117 in human years.

43-year-old Sarah Dixon found the reddish cat on the streets of Acomb, North Yorkshire, when she was very young.

Sarah resoned her pet’s longlife due to a meat rich diet that includes tuna and chicken breast instead of cat food, according to DailyMail.

The previous record as UK’s most longevous cat was claimed by puss Rosie, from Clitheroe, Lancashire, who passed away in 2012 aged 25.

Furthermore it is reported that world’s oldest cat was Creme Puff from Austin, Texas, who died back in 2005 when 38-year-old.

It is not accurately known when Margaret was born but Mrs. Dixon believes she came to life in January 1988.

The owner said that Margaret is scheduled to celebrate her stunning age with a delicious chicken dinner.
