The couple spent New Year’s Eve in the Ukrainian ski resort of Bukovel and they would prepare for wedding. Recently, the twosome made their first public appearance as they took part in a charity event.
Officially, the couple has not confirmed the marriage rumors, but Yulia Tymoshenko’s aunt, Antonina Ulyahina (Uliahina), told Komsomolskaya Pravda that as long as her niece is in prison, family does not plan weddings.
Yevgenia Tymoshenko married British citizen and leader of rock band Death Valley Screamers, Sean Carr, in 2005 and the couple split six years later, in November 2011.
One month before the break-up, Yevgenia’s mother Yulia Tymoshenko was sentenced to seven years in prison for abuse in power and ordered to pay 190 million dollars in damages to the Ukrainian state, because of signing a disadvantageous gas trade agreement with Russia in 2009. Yulia Tymoshenko was initially sent to the colony Kacianovsk, but because of health problems, was subsequently transferred to a hospital.
