Houston College Campus Shooting: At least 3 Injured In Lone Star College Armed Attack

At least 3 people, including 2 students, suffered gunshot wounds following a shooting incident that sparked at the North Harris Campus of Lone Star College in Houston, Texas (video report).

It was reported that one of the shooters was among the injured and is currently under arrest. A second shooter ran away from the campus.

Police searched for the suspect in a forest in the proximity of the campus and finally managed to capture him; therefore both gunmen are in custody now.

Authorities revealed that a 4th person at the college experienced a cardiac arrest during the armed attack.

According to a federal sources at the site of the incident, the shooting took place somewhere nearby school’s library.

“I heard about 6 gunshots, and students started running down the hallway and a some even came into our class … They were just screaming. I couldn’t hear anything,” said Amanda Vasquez who was in English class when the shooting broke out. “For me, I was just trying to get under a table, get into the back corner of the room … and I called my mom just because I needed her to know that I was OK.”
