The moment when the woman is hit by a lightning bolt has been captured on camera by photographer Rogério Soares who was taking photos of the stormy coast for Brazilian daily A Tribuna. The photographs have made the internet rounds being seen by millions people around the world over the last two days.

Rosangela Biavati, a 36-year-old married mother of one, died instantly after being hit by the bolt of electricity while on a trip to Guaruja, a popular resort on the coast of Sao Paulo.

Biavati was with family on the beach and heading to the sea to take her 11-year-old son out the water.
