Sad news for Michael Douglas who was left in shock these days after his ex-fiancee Nancy Pfister was found dead inside a cupboard at her home in Aspen, Colorado, on February 26, 2014.
The alleged perpetrators of the crime are victim’s husband and wife tenants William F Styler III, 65, and Nancy Christine Styler, 62. Pfister took an extended vacation last year in Australia, during which the house was rented to both spouses.
According to ABC News, Nancy’s daughter, Juliana, said her mother argued with the tenants due to the debts they owed to her. She decided to interrupt her Australian holidays and return to Aspen to face the couple and four days after getting home she ended up dead.
“I’d like to stay in Australia but the people that were supposedly taking care of my house are not doing what they said they would do and they’re not paying rent and they haven’t paid utilities,” wrote Nancy Pfister in a message posted on her Facebook page.
The local police did not provide details on the investigation, stating only that all department’s resources will be used to solve the case, especially since this is the first murder which took place in their district since 2001.
The suspects will appear before a judge on March 17.
