An American student who was declared dead back in 2004 was found alive now in North Korea, a Japan news source reports.

Currently, David is believed to live in Pyongyang, where he is married with two children, writes Deseret News Utah.
His mother, Kathleen Sneddon, said the report about her son being in North Korea “doesn’t surprise me at all.”
“We just knew in our heart that he was alive, so we had to keep fighting,” she said on Wednesday.
