Shocking conspiracy theory: U.S. teacher accuses Obama administration for planning Sandy Hook attack

An American professor managed to shock the public opinion in the U.S. after he publicly supported the idea that Sandy Hook School massacre, which left 26 people -including 20 children – dead, was simply staged by Obama administration to enforce the gun control law.

47-year-old James Tracy, a Professor of Mass-media history at Florida Atlantic University, wrote on his personal blog that the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting rampage might have been a huge conspiratorial scheme and the plot allegedly involved law enforcement, the federal government and the mass media sources.

According to tabloid The Sun, Dr. Tracy, a noted proponent of conspiracy theories, said that professional actors were hired by the White House to make country’s people agree with firearms law legislative changes wished by Barack Obama.

“As documents related to the massacre at Sandy Hook School are analyzed and interpreted by independent investigators, there are increasingly heard voices claiming that the widespread media coverage of this tragic incident served a political purpose. Even though it might seem shocking, we only have to ask ourselves if what we saw on TV was really true. We are left wondering whether the national media and law enforcement have somehow given us a much enhanced picture of the drama at that school,” claimed Tracy.

Moreover, Tracy supports his theory because of not seeing pictures with bodies of those shot dead by Adam Lanza in December and that should be enough to imagine that the real situation might have been different from what news outlets broadcast at the time.

Sandy Hook Elementary is attended by 600 students. Yet there is no photographic or video evidence of an evacuation on this scale. Instead, limited video and photographic imagery suggest that a limited evacuation of perhaps at most several dozen students occurred.

A highly circulated photo depicts students walking in a single file formation with their hands on each others’ shoulders and eyes shut. Yet this was the image of a drill that took place prior to the event itself.[10. See Correction] Most other photos are portraits of individual children. Despite aerial video footage of the event documenting law enforcement scouring the scene and apprehending one or more suspects in the wooded area nearby the school,[11] there is no such evidence that a mass exodus of children from the school transpired once law enforcement pronounced Sandy Hook secure. Nor are there videos or photos of several hundred students and their parents at the oft-referenced fire station nearby where students were routed for parent pick up.”

The university where Tracy works distanced itself from his statements, claiming that the website where he posted his opinions is not affiliated to the educational institution.

James Tracy’s comments have sparked virulent reaction among the community of Newtown: “It is outrageous and an insult to the community that this man is using a tragic event to popularize fanciful ideas about high-level conspiracy.”
