The F1 car ran only a few meters before the wheel worked loose and started bouncing along the pit lane. Everyone was jumping sideways in efforts to avoid an serious impact with the wheel but not so lucky was a cameraman who was hit hard in the back. He was left sprawled to the ground, but fortunately he did not lose consciousness, being quickly helped by mechanics of the Red Bull and Lotus teams.

Meanwhile, the Red Bull technicians pushed Webber’s car to the pit box where they fitted it with a new tire. But the incident was costly for Webber who got finally back on the track but on last position and almost one lap behind the other pilots. In communications with his team the Australian expressed his concerns about the health condition of the cameraman, but the Red Bull reassured him that everything seems to be fine:

“We’ll keep you updated with how he feels. Now he is back on his feet and looks good, which is a great relief.”
