In response, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said he will conduct a government reshuffle next week and amend the laws challenged by the opposition, in the context of the broad political crisis in Kiev.

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych announced that he will reshuffle the cabinet next week and modify the laws contested by Opposition following the large wave of remonstrations that sweep across the nation.

Yanukovych also warned that he is going to make use of “all means” against demonstrators if negotiations with opposition won’t come to an agreement.

However, the concessions are far from what the protesters want. Ukrainian opposition expressed three key demands: government resignation, president dismissal and early general elections.

Ukraine has been hit by massive public Pro-European demonstrations and civil unrest since November 2013 after Russia persuaded country’s leadership with financial incentives to call off better cooperation with the European Union.
